Smart Glass is our complete, ready-to-install solution: PDLC switchable film is laminated and sealed inside a finished glass panel at our USA facility. The result is a single, durable unit that powers from frosted-opaque to crystal clear in milliseconds.

Smart Glass FAQ
Is the glass private when the power is off?
Yes. Standard Smart Glass is opaque (private) when power is off and turns clear when powered on. If you need the opposite behavior, see our Reverse PNLC Film.
Can Smart Glass be used outdoors or on exterior windows?
For exterior applications we recommend IGU Smart Glass, which seals the switchable layer inside an insulated glass unit rated for weather exposure.
How much power does it use?
Very little — the film only draws power while held clear, typically a few watts per square meter, using a low-voltage transformer.
Do you make custom sizes and shapes?
Yes. Every panel is made to measure with options for custom shapes, holes and hardware cut-outs. Request a quote with your dimensions.
